INTRODUCTION
Turas is a community based addiction service located in Dundalk. We
are looking for an experienced fundraiser to lead and grow our
fundraising programme to grow, diversify and supplement our current
income streams. This position provides an exciting opportunity for an
experienced fundraiser who will be supported in the role by the
Manager of Turas.

THEY ARE WORKED WITH SOME EVENING AND WEEKEND WORK REQUIRED)
CONTRACT: 2 YEARS
BASE: AFTER INITIAL INDUCTION IN THE OFFICE WE ARE OPEN TO REMOTE
WORKING AS MUCH AS IS PRACTICABLE
MAIN DUTIES:
* Build on existing supporters and relationships and secure ongoing
support via individual events
* Create new fundraising partnerships and links with Dundalk related
local and regional businesses
* Establish a solid online and social media presence leading to
people doing events for Turas
* Build an online community via stories, video and imagery to
generate awareness of Turas and its work
* Create integrated campaigns alongside annual events
* Manage and coordinate an annual event
Own transport required. Mileage rates apply
PERSON SPECIFICATION:
* At least 5 years in a fundraising role
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills including the
ability to write compelling cases for support
* Strong networking skills
* A proven track record in identifying prospective corporate
partners/donors and building and maintain relationships with them
* Creative and skilled in your approach to building online content
for audience building
* Demonstrated experience in building donor bases via online and
digital fundraising
* Confidence working independently and driving projects from
beginning to end
